By completing a registration for your camper(s), you agree to the Participation and Payment Terms below.

TECHNOLOGY OPTIONS
Campers register for only ONE TECH OPTION per session. If the technology option you want is full, you may choose a different option for that session or change to another session. If that option is full for all sessions, you must choose a different option or not register. Campers who are registered for a second choice may be waitlisted for their preferred tech option in that session.

WAITING LISTS
If the entire SESSION you apply for is full, you may choose another session or be placed on a waiting list for that session. To be waitlisted, send an email to registrar@ticcamp.com indicating the desired camp site, session and tech option(s); also provide your phone number, your camper's name and his/her grade next September. If an opening occurs in that session, you will be informed of which tech option it is. If you wish to accept the place, you must then enroll your camper.

TRANSPORTATION
By registering your camper, you allow TIC Summer Camp to transport your child via bus to area tennis courts (MD & VA) free of charge. If you pay for the VA shuttle service, your camper will be bused from the parking lot of the Oakcrest School (our former site) to the new St. John's Academy site. Campers are required to follow bus safety rules: Fasten seat belts (when available), remain seated at all times, and behave in a polite and orderly manner. TIC is fully insured and meets all of the American Camp Association accreditation standards for transporting children including vehicle inspections and licensed drivers.

NON-DISCRIMINATION
TIC Summer Camp does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race/ethnicity, economic status, sexual orientation, physical ability, or cultural and religious backgrounds.

PHOTOGRAPHY
By registering your camper, you allow TIC Summer Camp to photograph your child. Photographs are used in the camp Memory Book, our brochure, and other promotions. If you do not want photographs to be taken of your child, you must submit a request in writing. You must also send (at least two weeks prior to attending camp) a photo of your child for us to keep on file.

BEHAVIOR CODE
TIC is committed to having a community in which every camper and staff member can learn, play, and participate in an atmosphere free from all forms of bullying and harassment. Any form of harassment, whether written or oral, physical, visual, or virtual, is strictly prohibited and subject to disciplinary consequences. Bullying or verbal abuse based on race, religion, gender, gender identification, sexual orientation, disability, or physical appearance are not tolerated at TIC. A camper who bullies or is inappropriately physical is sent to the office, and parents are called. That camper may be required to leave camp, with no refund of tuition.

 

PAYMENT TERMS

DEPOSITS
A deposit of $200 per camper per session is required upon enrollment, which is then applied to the final tuition. Registration deposits are non-refundable.

DISCOUNTS
  • EARLY BIRD Discount: $50 per session if you register by January 15, 2013.
  • SIBLING Session Discount: $75 for the 2nd and $100 for the 3rd sibling. This is a one-time discount, irrespective of the number of sessions.
  • MULTIPLE SESSION DISCOUNTS: $50 for enrollment in two sessions, $100 for three sessions, and $150 for four sessions.
  • You may take all these discounts simultaneously! There are no discounts on extra cost options.


  • REFUNDS
    After May 1, there are NO tuition refunds. Families who voluntarily withdraw on or before May 1, 2013 shall receive a full refund less the $200 non-refundable deposit per camper per session. There are no refunds for absences during a session nor prorating of fees for partial attendance. Deposits or payments lost because of withdrawal will be contributed to the TIC Scholarship Fund.

    FINAL PAYMENTS
    All tuition fees must be paid in full by May 1, 2013 or you forfeit your deposit and your camper's place at camp. When you charge your registration deposit on a credit card, you authorize us to charge the balance on May 1, 2013. If you pay by check, you must send in the balance by that date or you forfeit your camper's place. Tuition includes all supplies and camp T-shirts.
