Campers develop their artistic talents through digital media. They have the opportunity to use digital cameras, scanners, graphic tablets and color printers with a wide range of possibilities for creative expression. They learn to use professional software from Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Looking through the lens, drawing on paper, or painting on the computer screen, they work out their ideas digitally and develop a rich sense of visual design. They gain an understanding of how to communicate graphically with colors, typography, illustration and photography.
Campers may create and produce their own T-shirts, comic strips, posters, newspapers, magazines or books—and much, much more.
[Campers are limited to two digital arts sessions per summer.]
