Robotics is a perfect introduction to engineering and programming. From robots that trace lines to ones that can walk, campers get to stretch their creativity and build projects that actually move.

LEGO Robotics uses LEGO Mindstorm EV3 kits and a graphical coding language called RobotC. Working in pairs or small groups, campers build robots to complete challenges, throwing and catching a ball, dealing cards, walking, clearing an obstacle course, or whatever they can dream up.

Vex Robotics is our more advanced option, combining robotics, programming, and real electronics, metal parts, wiring, and microcontroller boards, to learn how circuits actually work.

We recommend LEGO Robotics before moving on to Vex.
