Emily Riedel, Executive Director
Emily began her youth development career with TIC Computer Camp in 1989, working in various roles from Staff Assistant, Athletic Director to Site Director for six summers during high school/college. After earning her MBA and 15 years in non-profit and corporate marketing, the opportunity to work with the TIC Founder was hard to turn down in 2008. Now fondly referred to as “Boss Lady”, Emily has been the Owner since 2012 and enjoys being part of the awesome community of TIC. She is a native Arlingtonian and lives with her husband and their three children (Ryan, 21; Adele, 18; Lucas, 18) who all work at TIC, and four dogs (Queenie, Dixie, Pepper, and Snoop Dogg). She spends her free time volunteering, travelling, working at a local animal hospital, and cleaning a lot of dog hair.

Tabitha Glading, Registrar
Tabitha is the administrative and registration mastermind that has been helping TIC Summer Camp thrive for the last 30 years! The master of the database, aficianado of Disney, and downright gorgeous personality, Tabitha is the ray of sunshine on the other end of the phone and knows the answers to your questions. TIC is such a big part of her life that even her three daughters attended and worked at TIC for many years. In her free time, Tabitha loves catching up on her favorite TV shows, traveling, and being the best cat and dog mom there is out there!

Dave Riedel, Operations Manager
Dave has been working behind the scenes at TIC for the past decade. No task is too small or complicated, taking on various projects as they come up, like bus driver, extended day, bounce house transporter and most recently tackling state licensing liaison and camper forms. Attended Norwich University for his post graduate studies and George Mason University for undergrad. Dave also works full time during the school year for FCPS as a 6th Grade Special Education Teacher’s Assistant.

Max McGarry, Marketing Manager
Max is our newest addition to the year-round team at TIC. He recently graduated from Saint Joseph’s University, receiving his major in Marketing and Data Analytics. He is beyond excited to bring his newfound skills and experiences to TIC! Aside from working as a summer director for TIC in both VA and DC for the past four summers, Max has also been a camper at TIC since 2012. When he is away from the busyness of camp, Max enjoys cooking, fishing, and giving as many treats to his dog as possible.
