Camper Accommodations

Because of our 4:1 teaching ratio and the supportive nature of our staff, TIC has been successful with neurodivergent children (ASD, ADHD) and children with specific learning disabilities (e.g. dyslexia). We have also served children with physical disabilities (e.g. deafness, spina bifida).

TIC counselors are not specifically trained in special education so parents of children with higher support needs, please contact us prior to submitting a registration. We do our best to accommodate every child and the best way to help us ensure we are providing our services most effectively is to communicate early and often with our year-round staff and Directors! The first days of camp are essential for creating a beneficial relationship between your camper and their counselor, so the more we know about their needs, the better we can make the camp experience!

We want to ensure TIC Summer Camp is the best program and/or have the right support in place for your child, especially those requiring special medical, behavioral, or social-emotional support. While we are committed to supporting every camper’s success, there may be rare instances when a camper’s needs or behavior significantly impact their own experience or the camp community. We do not offer one-on-one support, but we have seen success with external aides to support their camper throughout the camp day.

Please reach out to Emily Riedel at emily@ticcamp.com to discuss whether TIC offers the right experience and support for your child.
