Extended Day

TIC offers Extended Day to all campers following the conclusion of the regular camp day. Details for Extended Day:

Cost for Extended Day:

  • $350 per camper/per session

  • $45 per day for Extended Day drop-ins

Extended Day begins after carpool ends (around 3:15 PM) and runs through 5:30 PM.

Registration and Payment:

  • To register and pay online for Extended Day, log into your online registration portal and add Extended Day to your account. You can sign up for specific days or the entire session. Call 703-876-2868 for help registering and making payment.

Important Reminders:

  • Full Session Extended Day Policy: Withdrawals from full session Extended Day must be made by the end of the first day of the session to receive a refund. After that, there are no refunds, credits, or prorations for cancellations, absences, or partial attendance.

  • Drop-in Policy: If you register for multiple drop-in days but your camper does not attend, refunds are not available for unused days. If you're unsure of your needs, we recommend signing up only on the day you plan to use Extended Day.

  • Carpool Reminder: Campers not picked up by 3:15 PM will automatically be checked into Extended Day, and the $45 Extended Day drop-in fee will be charged to the payment method on file.

Extended Day Activities: Campers attending Extended Day will enjoy a relaxed environment with a provided snack and a variety of leisurely activities, including but not limited to:

  • Board games and card games

  • Puzzles

  • Badminton, Four Square, or similar games (depending on site)

  • Arts & crafts

  • Playground games and outdoor time (weather permitting)

  • Weekly movie

Please note that personal electronics should be left at home — there is no computer or electronic device use during Extended Day. Extended Day is supervised by our Extended Day Coordinators and supported by camp staff members.
