3D Animation is available for senior campers only, and prior animation experience is recommended.
What they’ll build
Our Animation program is a perfect fit for creative minds who want to bring their art to life.
Campers dive into 2D animation fundamentals using Adobe Animate and a drawing tablet, developing their own cartoons and characters. They'll learn to work with a timeline, build keyframes to define movement, understand frame rate, and use vector tools to design characters and backgrounds. Campers can also choose stop-motion animation, using Dragonframe software to bring their creations to life frame by frame.
We're bringing back 3D Animation for senior campers this year. Using Blender, they can focus on modeling (building their own objects and characters) or animation (creating full sequences with pre-made rigs).
2D and stop-motion are open to every experience level. Prior animation knowledge is recommended for 3D.
