TIC has developed a scaled approach to planning for Summer 2021. The five scenarios listed below will be updated using the most up-to-date information in the coming months and will guide our operations based on local conditions and CDC Safety Protocols. The scenarios are designed with the intention of making switching between scenarios as smooth as possible, however there are a few changes to our operations for 2021 that will be in-place regardless. The most notable change is that, assuming we will be able to run in-person programs, we will only operate two locations this summer- TIC-DC at Georgetown Day School and TIC-VA at St. John Academy.
We will continue to update this page with current information, so please continue to check back, as we specify which scenario we are planning for at this time.

Not sure if in-person camp is right for your camper in 2021?
Our Virtual Program, Camp OptimisTIC, was very successful in 2020! For summer 2021, we are offering four 1 week sessions in the month of July. With a 2 hour daily Technology Instructional block in the morning and a 60-90 minute Recreational block in the afternoon. Campers can sign up for both blocks or just one. This is a great option to get the TIC magic right in your own home!
